Ensure undertook remediation of an existing heritage rooftop whereby the client was experiencing internal water ingress issues, however, wanted to retain the aesthetic appearance of the heritage building as much as possible whilst utilising the Fatra PVC Sheet System. Following an inspection of the existing substrate, Ensure’s team were able to confirm that the existing substrate (roof) was acceptable to be directly laid over, and that we could effectively terminate our membrane without the need for demolition or disturbance to the existing structure or finishes. Ensure’s team installed a new Fatra Fatrafol 807V PVC Sheet Membrane System over the existing rooftop which was fully adhered and welded via hot air fusion. Following this, the team installed a series of Colorbond folded sheet metal capping’s to hide the exposed sections of membrane.

The residents remained in place for the duration of the works and were managed carefully to communicate the effect of all works to the Client and their existing structure.
