Diagnostics

The first step in Ensure’s process is to diagnose the problem or defect. The Team at Ensure are qualified water ingress experts and have a diverse range of experience and tools in identifying the root cause of any given water entry issue from efflorescence to cracking and concrete spalling.

We use a wide range of diagnostic equipment and testing methods including the use of traditional water testing, Electronic Moisture Metres, Thermal Imaging Cameras, Airborne Drones and Dye Leak Tracing. Once complete, we are able to provide you with a comprehensive report which includes causation/failure analysis, data obtained from thermal imaging cameras or moisture meters and marked-up inspection photos.
Design

Design

Following successful completion of the Diagnostics, Ensure will design a detailed solution in consultation with our trade and engineering partners to determine the most appropriate remedial approach which best suits our client’s needs, budget, warranty requirements and application of each product. At this point, Ensure is able to provide the client with a remediation proposal with formal costings and a clear pathway explaining the required scope and methodology involved. If the client or project requires a submission in accordance with the Design & Building Practitioners Act (DBP Act), Ensure will facilitate and manage this process also as we are registered under the DPB Act.
Installation

Installation

Ensure will facilitate complete installation of the works which means we manage all stages of the required trade works including everything from demolition, preparation, making good, waterproofing rectification works, finishes i.e., tiling through to final cleaning and demobilisation from site.

Ensure will undertake extensive testing of the completed membrane works as required which can include electronic moisture detection, flood testing and or traditional pick testing in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
Handover

Handover

Following remediation and installation, Ensure will hand the project over to the client to their satisfaction and in a way which provides the client with long lasting visual and structural integrity.
Maintenance

Maintenance

After handover of the project and should the client wish, Ensure is able to provide clients with a maintenance schedule for new installations and associated works. This provides client and property managers with a clear understanding of what is required to ensure the longevity and condition of each installation remains warranted and remains in pristine condition.
