Bouvardia Street – Rooftop Membrane Rectification Asquith, NSW

At Bouvardia Street, Ensure Waterproofing & Remedial Building were engaged to complete rooftop membrane rectification works affecting Unit 28. The project addressed long-term water ingress and deterioration within the rooftop garden areas.

Works involved:

Removal and temporary storage of existing pebble ballast
Surface preparation of the concrete roof slab
Installation of a fully adhered Fatrafol PVC 807V membrane system with new falls to drainage points
New cavity flashings were installed at façade junctions, requiring partial removal and reinstatement of low-level Hebel wall sections, complete with render repairs and elastomeric coating finishes.

To improve performance and longevity, new geo-cell drainage grids were laid above the membrane, parapet cappings were replaced, and the pebbles reinstated once waterproofing was complete. Localised render defects adjacent to the rooftop works were also repaired and repainted to architectural breaks.

This comprehensive remediation restored waterproofing integrity, enhanced drainage, and extended the service life of the rooftop garden system.
