ICON Building – Stage 1 Emergency Remediation Works Gosford, NSW

Ensure Waterproofing & Remedial Building were engaged by the Owners Corporation of SP 99576 to deliver urgent Stage 1 remediation works at the ICON building, Gosford. Following extensive water ingress across multiple units, our team prepared and executed a targeted remedial waterproofing program addressing critical defects.

The scope included:

New PVC cavity flashings
Balcony membrane replacement
Planter box separations
Subsill tray installation
Facade rectification works

Several units required removal and re-installation of windows and sliding door suites, along with integration of natural airflow systems to reduce condensation. Works also involved concrete hob construction, re-rendering, tiling replacement, and internal reinstatement to restore watertightness and structural integrity.

This stage formed part of a broader multi-stage remediation strategy, with Ensure coordinating design, access, and compliance under the Design & Building Practitioners Act 2020.
